ANSE CHASTANET can arrange a variety of bands to provide the musical background during your ceremony and/or during your wedding reception and wedding dinner if you are with a wedding party. Bands are subject to availability on your wedding day and the listed prices may vary slightly.
We do not have recordings of the bands available. All bands are regularly used by the Resort for our evening entertainment and we have selected the most popular for you below.
It is possible for you to bring your own recording of special songs which the band of your choice can play for you at a special time or during their 15 minute breaks. A DJ can also be arranged.
Best suited for entertainment during the ceremony are the Shak Shak Band, Steel Pan Duo, Harmony Trio, David Elwin or Lawrence. All other bands are best suited for wedding party/dinner entertainment.

Harmony Trio The Harmony Trio is an institution in St.Lucia and has won many awards. They provide a unique musical background with a guitar, drum and shak shak. |
Steel Pan Duo When a 9 men steel pan band might be too overpowering, the Steel Pan Duo provides a similar repertoire, as gentle background music. |

Family Affair (4 men band) This is one of the most popular new and uprising bands, playing a repertoire of pulsating rhythms including reggae, soca,up beat zouk tempo and slow music. |
Sulphur Steel Band (9 men band) Other than reggae and calypso, steel band sounds are the music most connected to the Caribbean islands. Our steel band plays a popular repertoire of both classical, traditional and contemporary rythms. |

Future Lights Band (5 men band) This is one of Resort's favorite dance bands, with a great variety of songs, from "classic caribbean", to reggae, soca, calypso and contemporary international. |
Quiet Fire (Trio) Excellent musicians with numbers ranging from Billie Holiday to most recent calypso and reggae hits. |
