At ANSE CHASTANET's Treehouse Restaurant, we have created and celebrate award winning Tropical World Cuisine, blending Caribbean cuisine with other world cuisine experiences, from French to Mediterranean and from Fusion to New World cuisine.
ANSE CHASTANET is very actively involved with the island's local farmers to assist them in understanding which produce is essential to our culinary style. Together with ANSE CHASTANET'S horticultural team, we have recently been further expanding ANSE CHASTANET'S own gardens, cultivating fresh herbs and fresh fruits which are grown amidst the historical ruins of the Anse Mamin plantation, part of ANSE CHASTANET'S 600 acre estate. The dinner menu changes daily and consists of a 4 course meal served in a romantic candlelit ambiance, surrounded by beautiful original artwork. Part of the Piton Restaurant is the Treehouse, where diners are seated in an open-air area amidst treetops as the name suggests. Dinner is served daily with the exception of Tuesdays.
ANSE CHASTANET menus always include vegetarian options and our culinary team is also happy to meet dietary requirements at any time.
On Tuesday evenings, all guests enjoy our special Caribbean Buffet which commences with a cocktail reception followed by dinner in the Trou au Diable beach restaurant. The atmosphere is festive with the entire stretch of beach in front of the restaurant lit up by flambeau candles.
APSARA
The Trou au Diable restaurant offers a special Indian theme menu titled APSARA on all evenings except Tuesday. APSARA is an innovative fusion of modern East Indian and Caribbean cooking, a celebration of St. Lucia's historical and cultural ties with East India.
BEACH GRILL
On all evenings except Tuesdays, we serve a beach grill menu in the beach bar giving our guests the option to enjoy light grilled fare near the water's edge in a casual setting.
AFTERNOON TEA
Afternoon tea is served from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. daily in both the Piton Bar and Beach Bar, and an afternoon snack menu is also available at that time.
DRESS CODE
Our dress code in the evenings is smart casual. Gentlemen usually wear collared shirts and Bermuda shorts or trousers. Light cotton or linen clothing is the most comfortable. At lunch, we request dry clothing in the beach restaurant and a light cover up.
BARS
The two bars - Piti Piton Bar at the Treehouse Restaramt and the Trou au Diable Beach Bar are open daily and offer a wide selection of tropical cocktails, beers and liquors including also fine malt whiskeys, eau-de-vies and after dinner drinks. Dining for Wedding Groups
The majority of our wedding groups of 12 guests or more choose to book a private dining space or one of our restaurants exclusively. In this case please read our section on PRIVATE DINING below.
If your wedding party consists of 12 guests or less, you also have the option to NOT book a restaurant exclusively and have a table reserved in one of our restaurants to dine from our regular menu of the day.
Private Dining
If your group is 12 or more guests, you have the option of reserving a private dining space or one of our restaurants on an exclusive basis. In this case, surcharges apply to cover set up and extra staffing needs. Additional charges may apply for elaborate decorations, table flowers etc.
Your private dining menu can be designed for you especially by our Executive Chef. In our section titled groups you will find some wedding menu suggestions.
Cocktail Parties
If you wish to arrange for a cocktail party after the wedding ceremony or at any other time during your stay, please take note of the three choices of beverage set ups on offer. Naturally, if you have other requests, please feel free to share them with us as we certainly will try to accommodate you.
Our beverage set up comes with a small assortment of basic snacks such as nuts, plantain chips, roasted coconut and cheese sticks. Should you wish for a more elaborate assortments of snacks prepared for your party, please choose from the choices as provided below.
